As promised on Friday, here is my big ol' Halloween post! Austin and I dressed up as Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World and headed over to a friend's Halloween par-tay.
I think we came pretty close to the real thing!

Alan and Shannon were our hosts, and they did a great job of setting up a fun little get together. We did dinner potluck style and had a nice variety of breakfast foods. I made doughnut hole skewers and rice krispies treats. We also had chicken and waffles, breakfast tacos, bacon and sausage, and witch hat cookies. Yum yum!

Right about the time we were wrapping up the picture taking, I got a call that my sister was in labor! What a fun twist to our evening! Austin and I ate a quick dinner and then we headed to Ft. Worth to wait for our nephew. My parents joined us around 2:00 am and Jake Zackery was born at 6:03 am on November 1st. We are so glad he is here and that everyone is happy and healthy.
