If you'll remember, last Sunday was "fake father's day" for my daddy. That's the present I got him. Do you like my wrap job?? I love making bows out of the wrappin' scraps, and I think they turn out pretty cute.

Last Monday I still wasn't feeling too hot after my
attempt to eat everything in the city of Houston, so my wonderful boyfriend brought me home some soup! Chickfila chicken noodle...yummmm.

I went to the grocery store and filled up my car on Tuesday. Look at that price! Under 3 ducks...that's what I'm talkin' about baby!!

Thanks to Pinterest, I have a new drink of choice for my daily water intake. If you're like me, you know that you should drink lots of water, but you also find water very blah. Enter yummy water recipe! All you do is put cucumber slices, lemon slices, and some mint leaves in a pitcher of water and let it sit overnight. It's refreshing and good for ya! Here's the recipe if you wanna try it out:

On Thursday night we went to this place that lets you play BINGO fo' free if you're hanging out. We didn't win, but it was so much fun! I am 85 years old...

I was doing the laundry last Friday, and I came up with a new game. See those things on my leg? Those are socks. And see that open drawer? That is the sock drawer. Once the socks are rolled in their cute little balls, I shoot 'em into the drawer.

My sister came over to my neck of the woods on Saturday, and we had the ultimate girl's day. We started by going to brunch, then went shopping, saw Magic Mike (woo!), and had a girly dinner at La Madeline. Magic Mike was good! It had an actual story, and there were lots of cute boys in their skivvies. Definitely something fun to see with the gals.

ReplyDeleteWe went to Sherlock's after the boys had their softball game. If you're not busy next Thursday night, you should come! If you get a BINGO, you get to play Plinko and can win stuff like $25-$50 cash, gift cards to Sherlock's, a free appetizer, or a free drink. OH and they have awesome happy hour on Thursday...$3 margs, cosmos, and house wines and like $2.something beers.
DeleteYour wrapping paper bow is the shizz! Jamie's gots skills! I'm really jealous. The only fancy wrapping that I know how to do involves folding tissues paper a special way so that it looks pretty in a gift bag. (Hint: the "special way" is in a triangle.) I have no skills.*
ReplyDeleteHaha the wrapping paper bow is the result of me having way too much free time on my hands during one Christmas break. Maybe I'll do a DIY post sometime. It's really not too hard, just a little time consuming.
